Abstract Singing is one of the problems that occurs in propeller. However, singing will not happen to every a lot high-speed propellers and on with wide thin blade sizes. One ships have high speed propeller fast patrol boat. To overcome this problem, modifying trailing edge most commonly used methods. Sharpening way reduce vortex shedding. change shape propeller, which can affect performance Therefore, study discussed about effect modification as anti-singing performance. Propeller analysed open water test simulation assisted by computational fluid dynamic based software. There are three sharpening model study, where size refers Van Lammeren design. The 20 mm, 25 30 mm best according flow analysis. result shows increase average thrust coefficient 8.96%, torque 7.88%, efficiency 1.29%.
